We consume too much.

Not that this is news to anyone. But seriously, this has been heavy on my heart and mind.

Believe me, I get it!

I love my clothes. I love my vintage finds. I love my furniture... All of it.

And these things make up our homes. They bring us joy, peace, and comfort.

But can we still have some of these things and find a happy medium?

I believe in shopping with intention, in all areas of our life. And using what we have until we need to replace it.

Instead of buying new things to buy new things.

New things. Different things. We are always looking for our next fix. Always looking for the next thing we “need.”

I believe if we shopped with intention. Thinking about specific items we need. And only shopping when there is a need. We would find ourselves with less “stuff” and more fulfilled with the things we have.

It’s obviously a process and also a shift in your way of thinking.

But I think it’s a valuable one to look at. I feel we’d find ourselves happier with more money used towards experiences instead of just stuff.

I’m curious to know what you all think.

Best,

Tami Sofia
