Finding Outfit Inspiration... anywhere

This is probably one of my favorite things to do with clients!

I like to have new clients create a Pinterest board with all the things that make them feel excited about fashion. We don’t necessarily use everything. But it’s great to have ideas and inspiration.

Then we take all that and make it into styles that work for you, your body and your lifestyle.

I look at photos for inspiration all the time. Sometimes I grab a color combo I like. Other times I see a texture combination I like.

I never replicate the outfit exactly, because I always wanna make it my own. And I like the challenge of only using the clothes I have.

But you can get ideas and inspiration from anything.

I love looking at interior design magazines particularly for colors, shapes, and texture. And I translate those into outfits with my clothes.

I’ve also gotten inspiration from cars (another passion of mine). Different body styles, colors, interior vs exterior. So many details to look at.

I think inspiration can come from anywhere and having that eye to be able to get inspiration from anywhere, is a practice.

Everything can be art in any form.

My gift is using fashion to bring art to life. What’s yours?

Best,

Tami Sofia
